Our sod comes in fertilized from the farm so you should be fine during the establishment phase. ln general, it is good practice to fertilize four times a year: in spring, summer, early fall, and mid-September. Different varieties of turfgrass require different amounts of water, and the amount depends on many factors. Some things to look for before watering include if the grass has a dull, bluish-gray color; if footprints remain in the grass; and if leaf blades are folded in half.
