Palisades Zoysia is known to be a “friendly” grass due to its impressive establishment rate.
Palisades Zoysia is a medium to coarse textured turf noted for its shade tolerance and low water requirements. It is a high-density turf that is especially suitable for home lawns and has proven itself to be an excellent choice for low-maintenance landscapes. Due to its low light requirements, it has become useful when there is a need to address shady areas in the landscape. It has reasonably good salt tolerance and is best known for its performance in shady lawns or areas, its drought tolerance, and its rapid recuperative ability which makes it a grass that can withstand a high volume of foot traffic. Emerald Zoysia
Emerald Zoysia is a hybrid variety offering a dark emerald green color and a finer, more wiry blade texture.
Emerald Zoysia has a low growth habit which requires less mowing and stands up well to foot traffic. When properly maintained, it forms a dense turf that is very effective in choking out weeds. It is a proven winner in the Gulf Coast region and also has better cold tolerance than Centipede and St. Augustine. You will not be disappointed with this grass.
